The Giant Rugby Ball Heads to Sydney
New Zealand’s Giant Rugby Ball will make its fourth and final international appearance at Sydney’s Circular Quay in September.
Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism John Key announced today that the eye catching 25-metre-long Giant Rugby Ball will be placed alongside the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay, with views of the iconic Sydney Opera House, between 2 and 12 September.

Positive Start to Ski Season
As the New Zealand winter sets in, ski fields up and down New Zealand are seeing an increased number of Australians hitting the slopes in search of a winter ski holiday. June visitor arrivals from Australia were up 7.5 percent on June 2009, a positive indication for a promising ski season.

Jaffas Attract the Aussies
Top rating Australian television current affairs programme, A Current Affair, made a flying visit to New Zealand last month to show Australians Dunedin's sweeter side. The show went behind the scenes at Dunedin's Cadbury Chocolate Factory and filmed the annual Baldwin Street Jaffa Race. Coverage aired on 22 July to an audience of 1.13 million. Read more »
