Cruise Arrivals Set to Double
Cruise is set to become one of New Zealand's fastest growing international visitor sectors in the next two years, with passenger arrivals set to almost double by 2011/12. A new Cruise New Zealand report out today shows that cruise passenger arrivals are set to increase by 90,000, to almost 200,000 within the next two years.

Tourism New Zealand will run industry workshops at the end of the month to discuss its new target market research, digital strategy and the redevelopment of www.newzealand.com. Tentative dates for the workshops are: Rotorua, October 26; Wellington, October 27; Dunedin, October 28; Auckland, October 29; Queenstown, November 2; Christchurch, November 4.
